MARK’S MUSIC

This Dawson journey started when I was eight. My mom’s piano took up over 50% of my shack of a room as I tinkled on it randomly. At fourteen I bought a used Rogers drum set, but it was too dang loud for the fam. And ended up playing my dad’s old classic 018 Martin guitar. Then the Beatles landed, and my life would never be the same. It was all Zep, Hendrix, Stevens, and C. S. & N after that.  And then in 98, I built a home studio and recorded the first Dawson CD and later moved into a commercial building near Long Beach and recorded Windmill. A few years after that I opened another studio and eventually wrote nine more CDs. Breach, On Top, Mundane Hero, Duffel Bag Cuisine, Grey Matters, MarksHabeas Corpus, The Pappie Doc Sessions, Moon Water, and The 86. This process lasted for over 3 years, just like my Facebook 10 & Win page, so I could pick the crème de la creme.
